Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has slammed those cryptocurrency marketplaces that are enabling a fake “Fortnite token” promotion.

He also noted that the company’s lawyers were looking into the Twitter accounts that have promoted the scam Fortnite cryptocurrencies.

While one of the Twitter accounts tried to justify their use of Fortnite in their project, Sweeney noted copyright and trademark laws clearly prohibit such unauthorized usage.

Notably, Sweeny did not mention any specific exchanges and marketplaces, although some popular decentralized exchanges have ריפּאָרטאַדלי allowed trading of the “Fortnite Token (FNT).”
